Driving School is a place where people are trained to drive vehicles, learn rules of the road/traffic and how to obey them. Road safety is a key concern area for both the Government and the people on Indian roads. Safe driving today requires a higher level of confidence and competence, given the poor traffic planning, increasing number of vehicles, lack of professionalism in driving and untrained drivers on road. In a bid to address these issues, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has launched Maruti Driving School — its initiative for promoting safe driving. The idea is to imparts better driving skills and to inculcate safe driving culture through special theoretical sessions for behavioral training and road sense with the help of advanced driving training simulator for better judgment and concept of route maps for holistic on-road practice.
In Class programs and Attitudinal Training, Advanced road simulators and practice tests, and first class behind the wheel training with experienced instructors and trainers; perfect tools that produces safe and responsible drivers.
The training module will cover the following aspects.

Simulator Training 5 days
- Night Driving
- Hill Start
- Driving in Precipitation
On Road Training 10 days
- Steering Balance
- Gear, Clutch, Break, Accelarator coordination
- Up Hill & Down Hill practices
- U turns & parking
We would be assessing the trainees by a theoretical test. A participation certificate will be issued to all trainees and a course pass certificate for those who have cleared our test.
We would be conducting the training in batches and a batch will have 15 trainees.
We have completed one batch with 15 candidates out of which 11 got their driving license.
